effortless Living: Bold and practical designing

A bold use of colour brings this playful, contemporary home to life. By adding a simple, full-width single-storey extension to the rear, we restructured the ground floor to create a bright, open-plan living area perfect for a busy family. The extension fell under Permitted Development rights, eliminating the need for Planning Permission.

The kitchen and dining areas flow effortlessly into the family lounge and out towards the garden. Large, minimally framed sliding doors capture garden views and provide a seamless indoor-outdoor experience year-round, with pops of color adding vibrant focal points to the otherwise neutral material palette.

On warmer days, polyester powder-coated aluminium doors fully open onto the deck and garden, extending the living space outdoors. High levels of insulation, durable low-maintenance materials, and environmentally friendly paints make this home not only beautiful to live in but also easy to care for.

Key features :

  • Bold colours help to spatially zone areas and enhance the overall vibrancy

  • Similar tiled flooring creates a dynamic contrast between interior and exterior

  • Expansive double-glazed doors and windows throughout

  • Open plan living, dining and kitchen space
